Eligibility and scope

Services are available to individuals and representatives acting lawfully in Singapore. Elanthor provides advisory services tailored to seniors' insurance needs, including policy comparison, coverage analysis and application support. We do not underwrite insurance policies, act as an insurer, or provide regulated legal advice. Users must be authorized to provide personal data for the persons covered by any advisory engagement.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age or the lawful representative of an adult or minor. For consultations regarding persons under 18, verifiable parental or guardian consent is required.

You must use Elanthor services lawfully and not for fraudulent or unlawful purposes. Misuse of services, including provision of false information to obtain policy benefits, may result in termination and notification to relevant authorities.

Elanthor operates primarily in Singapore and provides services to residents or entities with ties to Singapore. Services provided outside Singapore may be limited by local regulations and by insurer territorial restrictions.

Account and credentials

Certain features may require an account. When creating an account you agree to provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Account access is personal and non-transferable.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information supplied to Elanthor is complete, accurate and up-to-date. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the quality of advice and insurer responses.

Keep your account credentials confidential. Notify Elanthor promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We implement technical safeguards but cannot accept liability for losses arising from compromised credentials where you did not follow security guidance.

Accounts, profiles and associated benefits are not transferable without prior written consent from Elanthor.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact our support team immediately so we can contain risk and assist with remedial steps.

Elanthor may suspend or restrict account access where there is suspected abuse, security risks or non-compliance with these terms, and will notify you of the reason where practicable.

Services offered

Elanthor provides specialist consulting for seniors’ insurance needs, including needs assessment, policy comparison, insurer selection advice and application assistance. Our consultants draw on industry experience to explain product features, exclusions and common underwriting considerations. Final policy terms are set by the issuing insurer and any quotations provided are indicative until an insurer issues a formal offer.

Elanthor may modify service content, introduce new offerings, or discontinue services. We will communicate material changes to active clients and update public information on our site.

Service availability may be affected by insurer capacity, product availability and regulatory requirements. Elanthor will inform clients promptly if a recommended solution becomes unavailable.

Paid services and fees

Certain advisory services are fee-based. Paid services include in-depth needs assessments, personalised policy sourcing, ongoing advisory subscriptions and administrative support for insurer applications.

Fees are communicated in advance in writing and may vary by scope, complexity and time required. Quoted fees for consultancy and placement assistance are payable as specified in the engagement agreement.

Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card or other methods agreed with Elanthor. Billing details and invoicing terms will be set out in the engagement agreement or invoice.

Where subscription services are offered, renewal terms, notice periods and scope of services will be defined in the subscription agreement. Subscriptions continue until cancelled in accordance with the cancellation terms.

Refunds for paid services are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on service delivery, work completed and any contractual provisions. Refund requests should be submitted in writing and will be processed in line with our review procedures.

Clients may cancel paid engagements subject to any notice and administrative fees set out in the engagement or subscription agreement. Elanthor will invoice for work carried out up to cancellation.

Applicable taxes and statutory charges are additional to quoted fees unless explicitly stated. Clients are responsible for any taxes due in their jurisdiction.

Elanthor may revise fees for services. Existing engagements will be honoured under agreed terms unless mutually renegotiated.

Failure to pay agreed fees may result in suspension of services, refusal of insurer introductions and recovery actions. Outstanding invoices may incur reasonable administrative charges.

Elanthor provides professional advice based on information available at the time of consultation. Recommendations are informed by industry practice and experience but are not binding on insurers. Clients should consider multiple factors and consult other advisors as needed for tax, legal or medical matters.

To the extent permitted by law, Elanthor’s liability arising from or in connection with services is limited to direct losses proven and capped at an amount proportionate to fees paid for the specific advisory engagement. Elanthor is not liable for consequential, indirect or punitive damages, nor for insurer underwriting decisions or claim outcomes.

Third-party providers and insurers

Elanthor may engage third-party providers, consultant or insurer platforms to deliver aspects of a service. These entities operate under their own terms and are responsible for their own conduct. Elanthor does not accept responsibility for third-party errors beyond reasonable selection and oversight measures.

Termination and suspension

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the agreed notice provisions. Elanthor may suspend or terminate services immediately for material breach, fraudulent activity or where continuing the engagement would be unlawful or create unacceptable risk.

On termination, any outstanding fees and expenses become payable. Elanthor may retain copies of records to satisfy legal obligations and to protect legitimate business interests. Confidential information will continue to be protected in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

Privacy and data protection

Elanthor processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data protection law. Elanthor may update these terms to reflect legal, operational or service changes. Material amendments will be communicated to current clients with reasonable notice; continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Dispute resolution

Parties should first attempt to resolve disputes amicably through good-faith discussions. If unresolved, parties may pursue mediation or other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms before commencing court proceedings, except where injunctive relief is required.
